Walking does a lot for your health and your overall wellbeing. No, you don’t have to walk for hours but you should try to squeeze in at least 30 to 60-minutes of exercise each week and walking is a fairly easy way to do this.

And no you don’t have to have a goal in mind. The purpose is to get outside, clear your head and get a little exercise in the process.

So once a week but daily preferably, put on your most comfortable shoes and go explore your neighbourhood.

Think about the things that calm you and make you happy. Whether it’s taking the time to leisurely put on your makeup in the mornings,  enjoying your coffee or finally reading that book (there’s always an unfinished book) and turn them into daily self-care habits.
